In January 2024, Hongwang Holdings Group and Guangxi Shenglong Metallurgical formed a strategic joint venture, establishing Guangxi Hongwang New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., located in the Port District of Fangchenggang City.

Phase I involves the construction of several key production lines: one 1.5 million-ton-per-year continuous - pickling and six-stand tandem rolling mill; two 350,000-ton annealing and coating lines for mid-to-high grade non-oriented electrical steel; one 400,000-ton vertical continuous annealing galvanizing line; one 400,000-ton horizontal continuous annealing Galvalume coating line; and one normalisation and pickling line for electrical steel. The total planned output for Phase I is 1.5 million tons of high-efficiency, high-grade non-oriented electrical steel and high-end galvanized sheets.

Phase II plans to install one 500,000-ton-per-year continuous annealing line, capable of producing a wide range of steel products, including low-carbon steel, high-strength low-alloy steel, advanced high-strength steel, and deep-drawing steel.

The project fully leverages the substantial strength and technical advantages of both shareholders. Building upon Shenglong's high-quality raw materials and Hong wang's professional expertise in metal processing, it strengthens the extension of the local industrial chain and fills the gap in the production of high-end electrical steel in Guangxi.

Sichuan Hongwang is a key strategic presence for Hongwang Group in the Southwest region. The facility utilises advanced cold-rolled stainless steel production equipment and a comprehensive set of finishing facilities.

These include a reversing mill, continuous annealing and pickling lines, bright annealing lines, tension levelling lines, slitting and cutting-to-length lines, as well as surface processing lines for a variety of finishes (such as 8K, Ti-Gold, Ti-Black, Bronze PVD, and Anti-Fingerprint (AFP) stoving varnish).

Additionally, it has established a fully integrated stainless steel production, supply, and marketing system,ensuring the effective optimisation of resources.

As a key stainless steel finishing industrial base for Hongwang Group in Central China, Henan Hongwang operates advanced equipment for surface finishes such as brushed, 8K, Ti-black, vacuum ion plating, and AFP coatings. It primarily processes finished stainless steel sheets. 

Leveraging the regional advantages of the Central Plains Economic Zone, Henan Hongwang focuses on personalised customisation, agile delivery, and superior service to enhance product value. It has become a technologically advanced and large-scale base for stainless steel sheet processing in the region.

Guangdong Hongwang Metal New Materials Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hongwang Holdings Group, is a key construction project introduced through Foshan City's investment promotion initiatives. 

Located in the Lingang Industrial Park, Jiujiang, Nanhai, Foshan City, the project spans an area of approximately 9 acres with a planned total investment of 330 million RMB. It is designed to process stainless steel, high-grade electrical steel, galvanized steel, and cold-rolled steel into fixed-length strips and related downstream deep-processed products. 

The project is committed to building a model factory for precision intelligent manufacturing, while also supporting the development of downstream local industries, including comprehensive processing, commerce, storage, and logistics.

As a key platform for implementing the Group's "Go Global" strategy, Hongwang Overseas leverages the Group's profound expertise in metal new materials. It is dedicated to building a fully integrated and internationally competitive industrial chain for metal new materials in Africa, Southeast Asia, and other regions. 

Currently, strategic projects are being deployed and advanced in countries including Tanzania, Madagascar, and Indonesia. The business covers various sectors, from mining and mineral processing to smelting and deep processing. The division is also developing green energy and comprehensive supporting infrastructure overseas to foster industrial upgrading and local employment.

In January 2014, China’s first five-stand tandem mill with continuous annealing and pickling line was put into operation at Zhaoqing Hongwang. The production line adopted an advanced 18-high mill and intelligent control technology. Successfully building and operating this fully automated unit marked a significant shift in China’s cold-rolled stainless steel industry, transitioning from single rolling to continuous rolling. 

In June 2019, the company pioneered whole-coil finishing technologies for color-coated stainless steel, including brushing, 8K, Ti-Black, Ti-Gold, AFP, and PVD coating. This innovation enabled large-scale production of color-coated stainless steel, significantly enhancing color stability and quality control. 

In August 2020, the 1450mm 20-high rolling mill and bright annealing line commenced trial production.

Jointly established by Hongwang Group and Tsingtuo Group, the company covers an area of approximately 89 acres. It specialises in producing high-end stainless steel sheets and coils of 200, 300, and 400 series, with products including NO.1, 2E, 2D, and 2B finishes, available in widths ranging from 1000mm to 1550mm. 

In 2014, the company launched the construction of a three-stand tandem rolling mill with continuous annealing and pickling lines, along with a 20-high cold rolling mill for thin strips and supporting continuous annealing and pickling. The three-stand tandem mill introduced an innovative direct rolling technology for hot-rolled (black) coils, integrating rolling, annealing, and pickling into a seamless process—marking another breakthrough in stainless steel rolling technology. 

In early 2018, the five-foot five-stand tandem mill was commissioned, filling the gap for five-foot cold-rolled products in China's private sector and achieving full coverage across all series of stainless steel cold-rolled coils. 

In September 2023, an expansion project with an annual capacity of 600,000 tons, successfully commenced trial production. The overall plan aims to achieve an annual capacity of 3 million tons of cold rolled stainless steel.

In 2016, the first phase was put into operation, featuring an 850mm six-stand tandem mill with a continuous cold-annealing and pickling line. 

In 2017, the second phase was launched, which included a 1450mm hot annealing and pickling line with an inline one-stand tandem mill, and a five-stand tandem mill with continuous cold annealing and pickling line. 

In 2020, 18-high mills, 850mm bright annealing lines, and whole coil surface finishing facilities were put into operation. This enables us to deliver high-quality products such as brushed, 8K, Ti-Black, Ti-Gold, AFP, and PVD color-coated finishes to meet customer needs.

In October 2019, the Phase I 1450mm four-stand tandem mill with annealing and pickling lines was successfully put into trial production. This innovative system integrates traditional processes such as rolling, annealing, and pickling, while introducing smart technologies like automated cranes, coil handling, welding, grinding, rolling, acid treatment, and packaging. It became the first intelligent production line in China's cold-rolled stainless steel industry. The second phase of production entered trial production in January 2021. Yangjiang Hongwang has now built an annual production capacity of 1.6 million tons of high-quality cold-rolled stainless steel strips and continues to extend its industrial chain. It is actively expanding into the titanium sector, with the first-phase project producing 12,000 tons of cold-rolled precision titanium materials already in smooth operation.

The project aims to become a smart factory, promoting centralised control and "unmanned" operations for the entire plant. It strives to become a first-class modern manufacturing base and a demonstration site for smart manufacturing industrial tourism in China.
